Residents joined an effort led by Keep Riverside Clean and Beautiful and the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce to clean up around town to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. Among their tasks, they picked up trash, erased graffiti, removed signs and raked leaves.
The city’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Walk-A-Thon was again canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic.
